If you have used SCP's tool in the past, you may need to uninstall the drivers to use the DS4 with Bluetooth.
A windows will pop up showing how to install the driver, if not, go to settings and click "Controller/Driver Setup".Launch DS4Windows and choose where you want to save profiles.
Microsoft 360 Driver (link inside DS4Windows, already installed by Windows if you've used a 360 controller before).ViGEmBus driver (DS4Windows will install it for you).NET 4.8 or higher (needed to unzip the driver and for macros to work properly) Assign a deadzone to both analog sticks, the triggers, and the sixaxis.Get a reading of how the sticks and sixaxis is working.Hold an action to access a new whole set of controls.Automatically switch profiles by when a certain program(s) is launched.Use profiles to quickly switch between configurations for your controllers.Map the buttons and sticks to other 360 controls or keyboard actions or macros.Control the Lightbar: turn it off, dynamically change by battery level, and more.Use sixaxis movement for just as many actions.Use the touchpad as a mouse or for more actions.Use the same app for mapping a DS4, DualSense, Switch Pro, and Jo圜on.Use X360-like input to use the DS4 in more games and have rumble.By emulating a Xbox 360 controller, many more games are accessible and you can play PC games using the PlayStation controller. so my problem is "solved" i guess.DS4Windows is a portable program that allows you to get the best experience while using a DualShock 4 on your PC. any advice?ĮDIT: well i just kept trying to make it work by uninstalling/reinstalling the xbox driver and scp toolkit and for whatever reason it actually WORKED this time even though i'm pretty sure i did the exact same thing like 4 times previously. my setup was working just fine, so logically there has to be a way to make it work again. I dont want to use motioninjoy because it sucks and i don't want to buy any more hardware because i'm broke. In the "game controllers" menu in the control panel, it is recognized as a PS3 controller, but again, none of its input is recognized, and i think it's supposed to be recognized as a 360 controller anyways because of scp. I tried uninstalling and then re-installing the xbox drivers AND scp, i tried plugging it into my ps3 and then disconnecting it via the on-screen menu, and i tried uninstalling +reinstalling the ps3 controller driver in device manager (under "human interference devices -> HID-compliant game controller"), but none of it has made a difference. not a single program will recognize any input from the controller anymore. (before, when it was working, one single light was on solid). Then the other day, for seemingly no reason, when i plugged in my controller to my PC, the 4 red lights on the controller started flashing and kept flashing.
I had my PS3 controller working perfectly fine for a couple weeks on my PC (using SCP Toolkit, xbox 360 controller drivers, and a wired USB connection) playing steam games and gamecube games via dolphin.
